    • John Mohlar and Ann Bollinger are not possible parents, she was born 5 oct 1802 In Ephrata, Lancaster Co. Pennsylvania

      According to some reports she was a real shrew, Chris left maybe divorsed then move west

      Per pages 531-32 of The Story of a Dozen Generations, Rebecca's husband was Christian Hendrickson. They moved from Ohio to Fayette County, Illinois in 1843 with their children: Mary (m Mr Fink), Jonathan (m Sarah Rachel Sidener), Samuel David (m Elizabeth Sarwy), Thomas Franklin (wounded in Civil War and died), Henry (m Martha Stegall), George Washington (died in Civil War), and Susan (m her cousin Thomas Hendrickson). Christian moved to Kansas to live near Henry after Rebecca's death and is believed to be buried there.

Henry Mohler (1711-1796) left a will (then part of Frederick County, MD), naming Jacob, Valentine, John and Margaret (wife of Valentine Pressel). What became of John and Valentine above? Jacob, son of Henry above, had the following known children: He had other children, but names unknown. Solomon (1763-1852)MarylandMary Trout Catherine (1765-1851) md. Michael Lutz Henry (abt 1768-1821)MarylandAnna Maria (Sowers?) Jacob Jr. (abt 1771-1829)Maryland(1) Elizabeth Sowers and (2) Susannah Sowers. Solomon, Catherine, and Henry removed to Perry County, Ohio, while Jacob Jr. remained in Carroll County. Jacob Jr. had 16 children; John 1795; David 1797; Abraham 1800; Catharine abt 1802; William 1804; Margaret abt 1806; Benjamin abt 1808; Jacob 1811; Hannah abt 1812; Peter 1814; Magdalena abt 1816; Susannah abt 1818; Mary abt 1820; Rueben abt 1822; Emanuel 1825; and George 1828.       Since I posted the query about David Mohler ( 1790c in Maryland), I found the family tree maker on Ancestary.com, (which is free). I was lucky, my husbands great-grandfather ( Peter Mohler who married Rosannah
      Fredrick ) was listed. His line goes'
      PETER 5, JACOB JR 4, JACOB SR, 3 LUDWIG JR 2,LUDWIG SR 1.
      I also found using the USGENWEB search engine, the following.
      In 1730, Ludwig Mohler came to America on the ship, THE THISTLE.
      PETER AND ROSANNA MOHLER are buried in the PLEASANT HILL CEMETARY in Monroe Twp. Coshocton County, Ohio.
